We are just days away from one of the summers most anticipated movies. Wonder Woman which opens everywhere this Friday is being banned in a certain country. That country is Lebanon. According to Yahoo! Movies ,  the decision was made by the Lebanese government, taking issue with the fact that the film’s star, Gal Gadot, is Israeli and had served in the military.  Lebanon is officially at war with Israel and wanted no ties with that of Israel.

The ban was decided by a six-member Ministry of Economy committee.

This shouldn’t worry fans of the DC Heroine, so far the film has 94% score on Rotten Tomatoes. In addition to the great marketing for the film, its competition for Box Office champ isn’t that high with new movies “Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie” and Dean being released on the same day and with the lackluster box office performances last week by “Pirates Of The Caribbean” and  “Baywatch” there is no real competition for Wonder Woman, and even if there was, the Bad Ass Heroine can compete with the best of them.
